Al-Douh Company is the main commercial arm of the Riyadh Investment Group, which was established in 1982, more than 4 decades ago, and consists of many specialized companies and establishments, working in various industrial and commercial sectors as well as public contracting. The group has founded a series of factories in the field of manufacturing detergents, soaps and Sulpho-chemicals, as well as producing of dairy products, vegetable oils, cartons and metal tins.
The group also worked on establishing a distinguished plant for the manufacture of high-quality salt-resistant cement, in addition to an electric power plant for the factory in order to meet needs of the Iraqi market. On the commercial level, the group has firms involved in importing and exporting foodstuffs and consumer goods with leading brands and distributing them in the Iraqi market, using modern sales systems and techniques as well as professional supply chain management. The group has also invested in residential and tourism projects such as hotels and malls. The group participated in the implementation of many diverse projects in the fields of oil and its derivatives, the energy sector, minerals and electricity, as well as water and sewage systems. The group has a distinct imprint in the logistical operations related to land, sea and air transport in the supply of contracted goods within the required specifications and specified time frame. It is worth noting that the group's factories have obtained an international quality certificate (ISO) due to the fact that the group applies the necessary international standards.
